Wiring regulations state that on completion of all electrical installation work the contractors must provide the client with a certificate which proves the work has been carried out and inspected and tested to the current regulations.

We provide NICEIC certificates to cover all works, whether it is merely the installation of a socket when a Minor Works certificate would be provided or a complete re-wire of a building which requires an Electrical Installation Certificate.

The regulations also require that regular inspection and testing is carried out so that the installation is maintained and is kept in good condition. Different types of installations have different testing intervals and we can advise you as to how often your installation should be tested. For example a Periodic Test and Inspection should be carried out every five years on commercial premises, but every year in cinemas.

It is also a requirement for Portable Appliance Testing to be carried out annually to maintain them in a good, safe working order, and our specialised division dedicated to electrical inspection and testing would be pleased to provide a free quotation.
